I purchased these pants to wear with a sport coat that I already had. They worked out great. Very nice looking slacks. I wore them to an out of town wedding rehearsal dinner and I put them on before I left home. Our flight had major delays and we barely made the tail end of the dinner, but the slacks still looked great and were very comfortable even after having them on for about 11 or 12 hours.

Most mens wool dress pants are lined to the knee. These are not. The wool is uncomfortable. Unless you don't mind the feel of ichy wool, I would stay away from these pants.
